Carly's 1 month update

Carly is still our littlest peanut! She currently weighs 5 pounds 11 ounces and is 17.5 inches long. Carly is our little chipmunk, she likes to store her bottles in her cheeks and then spit it out at us when it's time to burp! She also likes to stay awake from one feeding to the next or falls asleep right when it's time to eat!

Amie Kate's 1 month update

Amie Kate weighs 6 pounds and 1 ounce and is 18.5 inches long after our one month check up. Amie Kate is the slowest eater of the three but is also the neatest! We haven't really heard her cry yet. Amie Kate sleeps the least, she often stays awake from one feeding to the next.

Bradley's 1 month update

After our 1 month check up Bradley is now 19 inches long and weighs 6 pounds 1 ounce! Bradley is the most vocal out of the three. His cry sounds like a gerbil! He wakes up first to eat and goes straight to sleep afterwards. 

Happy 1 Month Birthday

We've all survived our first month!! We couldn't have done without the help of their grandparents and their aunt and uncles! As you can tell they didn't really enjoy their photo shoot!

Tummy Time

We had our first "tummy time" experience on Monday. They all loved it! They spent a lot of time on their tummy's in the NICU so they were already used to it!

Since we've been home

We have had very little sleep in the last 12 days!! The babies eat every 3 hours and it takes about an hour and a half to feed all three. We have an hour and half to wash bottles, pick up a few things and go to the bathroom before we start the process all over again! It's amazing and exhausting all at the same time!!

And we're home

After a short 22 day stay in the NICU Bradley, Amie Kate and Carly all came home with us. All of the nurses were telling us that they have never had a set of triplets be released at the same time! Their Aunt Katy made them their cute shirts for them to wear home!! Thank you all for all of your prayers and well wishes! We couldn't have done it without our family and friends!

We're going home!!!

The last step before discharge is spending the night at the hospital with the babies. We stayed Tuesday night with Bradley and Amie Kate. Wednesday morning they decided they had not gained enough weight the day before so we wouldn't be going home. They let us stay Wednesday night with all three! They were weighed at 4:30am and had all gained over 30 grams! So, they got the green light to go home!

They are all on their own feeding schedule. I am hopeful that we can get on a better schedule when we get home so we don't spend an hour and half feeding them every 3 hours.
This is the schedule they were on in the NICU.

Bradley eats at 7:30, 10:30, 1:30 and 4:30 am and pm.
Amie Kate eats at 8, 11, 2, and 5 am and pm.
Carly eats at 8:30, 11:30, 2:30 and 5:30 am and pm.

Scott gave Amie Kate her first bath! She loved it! I gave Bradley and Carly their bath. Bradley didn't enjoy his bath as much as his sisters.

No more stinkin' tubes!

Amie Kate and Bradley got their feeding tubes out! That means they are both taking all of their feedings by bottle. Carly should be getting her tube out in the next day or two!!
